Pankti Patel , O.D. is a residency-trained optometrist dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized eye care to patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include ocular disease management, low vision rehabilitation, dry eye treatment, glaucoma management, and comprehensive eye care.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Patel has proudly called North Carolina home since 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from North Carolina State University in 2019 before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2023. During her doctoral training, she was honored with the Optelec Excellence in Low Vision Award in recognition of her outstanding commitment to low vision care.

Dr. Patel completed clinical training at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Charlotte VA Medical Center. She went on to complete a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation and Ocular Disease at Paul Vision Institute in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she gained advanced experience caring for patients with complex eye conditions and vision impairment.

Committed to helping patients preserve and improve their vision, Dr. Patel takes a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care. She strives to develop individualized treatment plans that enhance each patient's quality of life while incorporating the latest evidence-based advancements in optometry.

Dr. Dolan is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the North Carolina State Optometric Society.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is also passionate about serving others and has volunteered internationally, providing eye care to underserved communities in Nicaragua. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Patel regularly pursues continuing education and professional development to remain at the forefront of advances in eye care.
