NORTH CAROLINA EYE, EAR, NOSE & THROAT HOSTS A 1914 FOOD DRIVE

JANUARY 18, 2017-Durham, NC - The physicians and staff of North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat are excited to host a 1914 food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

“We are excited to give back to our community,” said Sinead Ingersoll, North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Executive Vice-President.  “We held a staff food drive in October and donated more than 300 pounds of supplies to help those affected by Hurricane Matthew. But we wanted to do more.”

Collection bins are located in the lobby of each NCEENT office. The goal is to collect 1914 items to commemorate the year North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat was founded by Samuel D. McPherson, Sr., M.D. Formerly McPherson Hospital, North Carolina Eye Ear, Nose & Throat has been a leader in providing Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology care for the community, medical research and new physician training.

The 1914 food drive runs through Tuesday, January 31, 2017. For more information call 919-595-2131.
