Scott Clarke, M.D. attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergraduate, and then attended Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA in July of 2000. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles in various medical journals. He enjoys caring for children and adults with disorders of the tonsils, adenoids, sinuses, throat and ears. His care includes the treatment of nasal blockage, chronic sinus disease, allergies, and growths involving the head, neck and thyroid gland. Dr. Clarke is also the only physician in the area to offer a virtually pain free in-office treatment for snoring called Coblation. He welcomes new patients of all ages.

John A. Garside, M.D. Dr. John A. Garside, M.D. is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology and specializes in the treatment of adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat disorders including sinus and allergy problems, snoring and sleep-disordered breathing, dizziness, hearing loss and other ear problems, and growths in the head and neck. A native of Raleigh and a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Garside brings with him strong ties to the community and a passion for otolaryngological care.

Sarah H. Hodges, M.D. was born in Hastings, NE and grew up in Columbia, MO. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a BS in Biochemistry. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, and completed a surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Hodges is Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She and her husband Jonathan, who is a chemist, moved to the Triangle in 2004. She practiced Otolaryngology for four years in Raleigh before joining North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat in 2008. Dr. Hodges practices general Otolaryngology in both adults and children. In addition, she has a special interest in voice disorders and sinus disease. Dr. Hodges and Jonathon recently welcomed a new son, Benjamin. In her spare time, Dr. Hodges likes to spend time hiking and traveling with her family.  |

Gregory F. Hulka, M.D. is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist specializing in the care of the ears, nose and throat conditions of children. He received his bachelors degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his residency at the University of Carolina at Chapel Hill and a fellowship at University of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
His practice ranges from more common conditions such as chronic ear infections, tonsillitis and obstructive sleep apnea to the care of more complex medical problems requiring comprehensive, coordinated care with other pediatric specialists. Surgical care ranges from PE tube placement, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy to sinus surgery, neck masses and complex ear and airway procedures.
Dr. Hulka encompasses a conservative, integrated approach to caring for each child that includes understanding each problem from the parents', child's and other care provider's viewpoint and educating the family in order for them to make informed decisions they feel good about in regards to their child's care. Prior to joining NCEENT, Dr. Hulka served as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Duke Medical Center. He now looks forward to caring for his patients at 4102 N. Roxboro Rd.
