Lou Anne Teague, MA/CCC-SLP is a clinical speech pathologist who comes to NCEENT with more than 20 years experience. Ms. Teague is board certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
Prior to joining NCEENT, Ms. Teague was on the faculty at Duke University Medical Center working with a wide variety of medically complex patients, Ms. Teague participated in research and teaching efforts in addition to providing evaluation and therapy for patients.
Ms. Teague worked on a grant funded by the Duke Endowment focusing on medical and developmental care for premature infants, presenting workshops locally and nationally on feeding, speech and language assessment and intervention.
Lou Anne received her training in videolaryngostroboscopic evaluation of voice disorders conducted at Emory University and manages patients referred for voice evaluation and treatment. She welcomes patients of all ages, with diagnosis including: voice, feeding and swallowing disorders, autistic spectrum disorders and language disorders.
